About Us
Aakansha Farms Private Limited is a south 24 Parganas (West Bengal) based company producing organic vegetables herbs and Fruits. Aakansha proposes to establish a supply chain net work where garden fresh, clean, delicious and quality organic vegetables can be made available to homes in Kolkata at reasonable prices.
At Aakansha, we should be able to meet the consumer requirements because we have our own agricultural farms where vegetables can be grown round the year. We should also be able to provide early varieties of vegetables which would be grown under Poly & green net houses to take care of the vagaries of weather.

For fertilizers we use Farm yard manure (FYM) and vermi compost which at present we outsource but should be producing our own vermin compost under the guidance of experts. For this we are already rearing large number of earthworms.
We at present have cauliflower, bottle gourd, bitter gourd, cabbage, Peas, Tomatos Palak, Methi, Mungra, Akra ( Bhindi), Brinjals, beans, coriander, mint & chichinga etc, Large number of other vegetables should be available from June. We are open to the idea of growing vegetables or cereals preferred by the consumers.
Incidentally we have more than 5000 plants of aloe vera and few hundred plants of Tulsi and Pappya too.
We do not use river water and have our own Tube well and a Tractor. We invite you to visit our farm at Falta, South 24 Parganas to assess for yourself the quality and taste of our products and the procedures followed for growing these vegetables.
We invite suggestions from the would be consumer for successful implementation of the project.
